Psychotherapy is a talking therapy used to treat emotional problems and mental health issues.

I have appointments available weekdays only.
+ Do you work with private health insurance providers?
Yes, I am a recognised provider for both Aviva and Axa Health. If you have a policy with either of these insurers, you may be able to use your benefits to cover the cost of your therapy sessions. Please contact your insurer directly to confirm the details of your cover and advise on next steps.
+ Is this service confidential?
Everything we talk about is confidential. I have a duty to keep records relating to clients. These will be held securely and anonymised appropriately. I will only breach confidentiality if there is a statutory or legal duty to disclose.
+ Where is your therapy room?
I have a therapy room in Winchester or we can work online using Teams.
+ What software do I need for online psychotherapy?
We will use Teams or Zoom for online psychotherapy.
+ How do I pay?
You can pay for therapy using Stripe. I will send you a link to book and pay for sessions once we have agreed our terms of engagement.
+ How do I know Jon is a qualified psychotherapist?
I am registered with the UKCP. You can confirm my credentials here on the UKCP website here.
+ How long does psychotherapy last?
This depends on what you bring and what you want from psychothapy. In some cases a few sessions works well but other clients with complex and challenging needs may need much longer.
